Terms of Service

Aster Ridge Research publishes a research publication of general and impersonal circulation (the "Service"). The Service is informational and educational. It is not investment advice and is not personalized to your financial situation, objectives, or needs. Your subscription does not create an investment-advisory, brokerage, fiduciary, agency, or other special relationship between you and Aster Ridge Research, and nothing in the Service should be construed as a recommendation that any security or strategy is suitable for you. The Service is not an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security.

Signals, classifications, estimated return ranges, horizons, and other outputs are analytical opinions and forward-looking statements. They are not guarantees, predictions, or assurances of any outcome, and they may be incorrect. Any past, hypothetical, or illustrative examples are not a performance record, are not audited, do not represent actual trading results, and do not predict future results. Markets involve substantial risk, including the loss of principal.

Disinterest. At the time of publication, Aster Ridge Research and its personnel do not hold positions in the individual securities discussed and do not trade against published views. Aster Ridge Research receives no compensation from any issuer, promoter, or third party in exchange for coverage, inclusion, or favorable treatment. Its research is impersonal — written for a general audience and not tailored to the financial situation of any specific person.

You are solely responsible for your own investment, financial, legal, and tax decisions. You should not treat any content as a substitute for individualized advice from a licensed professional, and you should consult such professionals regarding your particular circumstances before acting. You represent that you have the knowledge and experience to evaluate the Service independently and that you are not relying on Aster Ridge Research for personalized advice.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 06, you and Aster Ridge Research consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware for any dispute not subject to arbitration.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. YOU AND ASTER RIDGE RESEARCH AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the entirety of this Section 06 shall be null and void. You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aster Ridge Research and its personnel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for any lost profits, lost data, or trading or investment losses, arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Aster Ridge Research for any and all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to Aster Ridge Research for the Service during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You acknowledge and agree that the Service is impersonal publishing; that you are not relying on it as personalized investment advice or as the basis for any specific investment decision; and that Aster Ridge Research has no obligation to update any content. You assume full responsibility and risk for any use of the Service.

Seller and payment processing: payments are processed by Link, a Stripe company, which sells the subscription as reseller. Charges appear on your card or bank statement as LINK.COM* ASTER RIDGE. Checkout, receipts, and the subscription management page are provided by Stripe and Link. Trial: a new subscription starts with a 7-day trial for a one-time fee of $7 plus applicable tax, charged when you subscribe. One trial is available per email address. Stripe and Link label the trial period "free" on their pages and receipts; the $7 trial fee is charged as a separate item. Automatic renewal: unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid subscription at $79 per month plus applicable tax. The first $79 charge is made when the trial ends, and a charge of $79 plus applicable tax is made at the start of each monthly billing period after that. The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges to the payment method you provide. We email you a reminder before the first $79 charge. Taxes: sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar taxes are calculated at checkout from your billing address and added to the price. Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your account page, which opens the Stripe Customer Portal, or from the portal link in our emails. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or monthly billing period: you keep access until then, and no further charges are made. Refunds: if you request a refund within 7 days after your first $79 charge, Aster Ridge Research refunds that charge in full. A refund cancels the subscription and ends access immediately. Except for that refund, or where a refund is required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable, including the $7 trial fee and any partial billing period. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom): you may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of the day you subscribe, without giving a reason, by emailing support@aster-ridge.com from your account email address. At checkout you ask for the service to start immediately; if you withdraw, we refund what you paid minus an amount proportionate to the time the service was available to you before you told us, and the subscription ends. Price changes: Aster Ridge Research may change the subscription price for future billing periods. We email you at least 30 days before a new price takes effect, and it applies from your first billing period that starts after those 30 days. Payment disputes: if you believe you were charged in error, contact support@aster-ridge.com or use the Help form on your account page before disputing the charge with your bank. A chargeback cancels the subscription and ends access.

Aster Ridge Research may modify these Terms by posting an updated version bearing a new version identifier; your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
